Hello!

My name is Mara Harris. After my childhood in the foothills of north Glendale I moved to downtown Los Angeles to pursue my degree in Neuroscience and Communication design from the University of Southern California. An unusual combination to say the least, I utilize my analytical thinking and knowledge of human behavior to design better solutions.

I currently work full time as a graphic designer and run a freelance business doing projects in design and illustration. I’m particularly passionate about book design and illustration, specialty printing, and the nonprofit and small business world.

In my spare time I explore my Highland Park neighborhood, read Terry Pratchett novels, and travel whenever possible (38 countries visited so far!).
