The Time Travel Mart is a whimsical and entertaining storefront in Echo Park. The “only Los Angeles purveyor of quality goods from the past, present, and future” it is also a source of funds for 826LA, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills. As designer at 826LA I was responsible for conceiving and executing a product concept that would fit in with the store’s theme of time travel or literature. The calendar represents a diverse group of famous writers and their cats, with hints about their unique lives and works.
